The fourth race on Ffos Las’ card is a Handicap Hurdle, see our betting tips and the full race preview below.

IN SUMMARY: Preference is for BINGO D’OLIVATE, who won comfortably on his handicap debut in March and reappeared last month with a decent 5th at Lingfield. He is entitled to come on for that run and is lightly raced as a whole so should have lots of improvement left. Dangers include Bennys King who makes his handicap debut and Makethedifference who ran a superb race to finish 3rd in a listed race at Newbury latest.

1 OSCARTEEA – Finished 2nd to a subsequent winner on stable debut at Wincanton back in February (2m5f, Soft), been off for 296 days and drops back in trip which shouldn’t be an issue. Place claims.

2 BINGO D’OLIVATE – Won very comfortably on his handicap debut at Newbury in March (2m, Soft) and reappeared this season with a satisfactory run at Lingfield last month (2m, Soft). Very lightly raced and entitled to come on for that run, he should make a bold bid with further improvement under Tom Scudamore.

3 PRUSSIAN EAGLE – Beaten out of sight back over hurdles on last month’s stable debut at Huntingdon (2m, Good), and very hard to make a case for him after that.

4 KEY TO THE WEST – Off since December 2015 when he crashed out of a 1m7f chase at Wincanton. Goes well on softer ground and on a decent enough mark but entitled to need thsi and probably best watched today.

5 BENNYS KING – Thrice a runner up in Novice Company, the latest of which when a close 2nd at Bangor in April (2m3f, Good). Now open to progress in handicaps and should improve so has to be respected under Liam Treadwell.

6 MAKETHEDIFFERENCE – Ran a huge race when finishing 3rd in a listed race at Newbury last month when trying to make all (2m, Good to Soft). Very consistent in the main over hurdles and has definite place claims if employing the same tactics again today.

7 BEALLANDENDALL – Better than the result suggests when 5th at Sandown latest (1m7f, Good) and Richard Johnson rides again today. Has place claims but does need to improve for win purposes.

8 LIMITED RESERVE – Finally cracked it when winning on his 3rd handicap at Sandown (1m7f, Good to Soft), and is entitled to improve again today. Untested on true soft ground but should handle it and off a basement mark, so has to be deeply respected.

9 CALCULATED RISK – Has won twice in plating company but this is a much tougher task compared to those and should be vulnerable for win purposes.
