Nassalam to win Finale Hurdle and Triumph Hurdle (14/1)

Unbeaten in a pair of hurdling starts, Nassalam has understandably drawn comparisons to Goshen in the process. Winning by margins of 59 and 49 lengths, it would be fair to say that he’s been visually impressively.

That form is very modest, however, and he needs to prove it against better opposition. He has the chance in the Finale Hurdle, where he’ll come up against the likes of Houx Gris and Adagio. 10/11 for the Finale, if he wins on Saturday, his price of 11/1 for the Triumph will dramatically shorten.

Bob to lay down the law!

Bob Olinger to win Lawlor’s of Naas Hurdle and Ballymore Hurdle (20/1)

Winning a Turtulla point to point back in 2019, Bob Olinger won his sole bumper at Gowran Park in March 2020 by ten lengths. He made his hurdling debut at the same venue back in November, beaten just a length by Ferny Follow.

Unsurprisingly sent off at 1/8 at Navan on his most recent start, he won with his head in his chest. Posting a peak RPR of 145 over hurdles thus far, he deserves a step up into Grade 1 company today.

A 10/1 shot for the Ballymore Novices’ Hurdle, that price won’t be available if he wins on Sunday. If you’re sweet on his chances, you can boost to the odds to 20/1 for him to win on Sunday and do the same in the Ballymore.

The Master to come good?

Master Tommytucker to win Silviniaco Conti Chase and Cheltenham Gold Cup (66/1)

This year’s Cheltenham Gold Cup is looking wide open. Al Boum Photo is the one to beat, but behind him, there’s question marks aplenty about the other key contenders. Currently 50/1 in the Gold Cup market, Master Tommytucker is an outside squeak for the showpiece contest.

Highly touted in his younger days, things haven’t been straightforward for Paul Nicholls ten-year-old. That being said, this season has put him back on track, winning a pair of chase starts in comfortable fashion. He disappointed in the Caspian Caviar last time, but he was carrying an enormous weight and it’s a forgivable effort.

A win against Imperial Auru at Cheltenham would certainly enhance his claims and his price for the Gold Cup would shorten. He has stamina to prove, but he’s always shaped as though he’ll stay and if you think the same, 66/1 to win the Silviniaco Conti Chase and Cheltenham Gold Cup could grab you some value.
