Chateaubriant racecourse is located in the Pays de la Loire region in western France, about 350 km southwest of Paris and is widely recognised as one of the most beautiful tracks in the west. See the free tips for each meeting on the myracing website.

Chateaubriant Tips:

At the Chateaubriant course, there are two different tracks; one for flat racing on turf along with National Hunt action over hurdles and fences, and another All-Weather surface for trotting events. There is free admission all year round and anybody who is holidaying nearby can have a great day out at one of the racedays for no upfront cost!

Although France Galop don’t have too many meetings under rules at Chateaubriant, for any of the bigger events our expert tipsters at myracing will provide their best betting picks and predictions, and do all of the hard work for you by studying the form, sifting through previous race videos and reading the trainer and jockey quotes on offer. Chateaubriant Best Trainers & Jockeys:

With limited data from the lower number of race meetings, it’s hard to make any firm conclusions with regard to what trainers target the Chateaubriant races and who we should be keeping on side. The winning-most trainers in 2019 had just two winners here, Norbert Leenders, Henri-Alex Pantall and Christophe Lotoux having that honour from a handful of runners. Those yards also had the most runners in the two years previous so it could be worth going more in-depth with their entrants than many of the others.

It was a similar story with the jockeys’ championship. Alexandre Roussel and Theo Bachelot were the top two with 3 winners a piece, Roussel winning as a result of having more placed horses. Pierre-Charles Boudot came third despite only having five rides (2 wins and 3 places). A few more were stuck on two, with the remainder on one or none. Nothing too exciting can be taken from the figures but Roussel clearly rides the track well, whilst Boudot is always of interest on the rare occasion when he visits Chareaubriant. Keep an eye out for his bookings!
