Dieppe racecourse is located very close to the city centre of Dieppe, in the department of Seine-Maritime in the Normandy region – and is one of no less than 17 racecourses found in Normandy. See the myracing website for full researched tips and betting picks for each race meeting.

Dieppe Tips:

At the Dieppe course, they offer flat racing along with National Hunt action over hurdles and fences, and also some trotting events. Meetings traditionally take place between May and September but when it comes to the France Galop meetings under rules, there are not too many scheduled. Each year there are only a few on offer so if you want to visit the track for some flat or National Hunt cards, the window is more limited than at many other venues.

Dieppe Best Trainers & Jockeys:

With few meetings to analyse, it’s difficult to make firm assessments from the 2019 leaderboards. Henri-Alex Pantall was the trainer with the most runners, just 13 in total. He had a solitary win and another 4 places, which was enough to finish third in the trainers’ championship.

Finishing in first place was the Boutin yard with just 2 winners, but also an impressive 7 places from 12 runners. Jean-Claude Rouget grabbed second, 2 wins and 2 places from just 5 runners. A solid performance from such few track appearances.

Coming out on top of the jockey’s leaderboard was the wonderfully talented Theo Bachelot with a near 25% strike-rate, 4 winners from 17 rides and 5 places. Cristian Demuro finished second on 3 winners from 15 and Alexis Badel had 2 wins and 8 places from 17. All three riders are an advantage around here and it will be worth our while spending a bit longer to go through the claims of their rides, so keep an eye on what horses they’ve been booked for at any of the upcoming meetings!
