Having developed an interest in racing whilst in college some years ago, James has worked in many areas of the industry, including a stint hiding his face on radio! From 2008 until 2017, he ran a successful tipping service and has had shares in numerous horses including the wonderful Fast Shot. Unsurprisingly given some of the horses he has bought shares in, his punting passions lie in sprint handicaps on both the turf and All-Weather surfaces!

Horse Racing tipster James Boyle has 14/1 & 17/2 Value Bets for today’s action.

6:45 Wolverhampton – Reloaded – 1pt win @ 17/2

RELOADED has not had things go his way that often in his short career to date and failed to fire fully at Newmarket last week when held up in a race where those on the speed weren’t stopping. That was over a mile in a 0-95, so it’s easy to see why he was below-par and now dropped in both grade and trip, he’ll do much better if coping with the tapeta surface. His previous run on the turf at Lingfield showed that a mark of 85 can be defied at some point soon and 17/2 is a couple of points bigger than I’d have him.

7:30 Chelmsford – Felix The Poet – 1pt win @ 14/1

Early pace pressure mightn’t be ideal for FELIX THE POET and he will more than likely have to take a lead from one or two of these, but he still looks overpriced returned to this C&D. The 3-year-old ran a cracker here in July when blinkers were in use for the first time and the course is perfect for his running style. His price seems partly as a result of being well beaten last time but that was in a valuable Class 2 so it’s easy to forgive. Back down at this level, he’ll be more comfortable and could go close.
