Saturday Trends (30th March 2019)

Something for everyone this weekend as the curtain is raised on another new flat turf season at Doncaster, while there is all-weather action at Kempton and Southwell, plus domestic jumping cards from Uttoxeter and Stratford.

The ITV cameras are at both Kempton and Doncaster, with the ultra-competitive Unibet Lincoln Handicap spearheading the Doncaster flat card – did you know ALL of the last sixteen winners were aged six or younger?

Add in fifteen of the last sixteen successful Lincoln Handicap horses carried 9st 4lbs or less, and that twelve of the last sixteen winners came from stalls nine or higher, then these key trends should help whittle the big field down.
