IN SUMMARY: IZZY BIZU has won at this level before and run well in good quality contests throughout the season, she can pick up some more black type here ahead of One Minute who has beaten some useful rivals this season.
IZZY BIZU – Has been keeping good company and produced a fine effort in a Group 3 at Goodwood when beaten under 3 lengths having won a French listed race the time before by the narrowest of margins, a rating of 93 puts her bang there and she should be involved.
ABAMANOVA – Raced much too keenly when last of ten in her first try at this level, had previously followed up a satisfactory debut with a maiden win by four lengths at Fairyhouse and looked a nice prospect. Chance here if settling better.
ALL OUT – Ran on strongly over five furlongs on debut to get up by a neck when relatively unfancied and doubled her tally in good style as the 11/10 favourite on her second start, she won more easily than a neck would suggest that day and further progress would see her seriously involved.
ALWASMIYA – Ran an encouraging race on debut when it should be noted she was an extremely well backed 11/8 favourite, confirmed that promise when winning comfortably on her second start; Simon Crisford is operating at a strike rate of 43% in the last fortnight so she must be feared.
AURORA ECLIPSE – Sent off a short priced favourite when second on debut and lived up to expectations on her second racecourse when winning with authority, was well ahead of Abamanova when not beaten far in a listed contest in Ireland and should make her presence felt.
HULA GIRL – Ran a nice enough race on debut when looking quite inexperienced but failed to back that up on her next start, she is the only maiden in the field and this certainly won’t be an easy time to break her maiden; can be overlooked.
LOOKS A MILLION – One of the more exposed runners in the field having had six starts, she has won just one of those in a maiden at Sandown but has raced exclusively in listed company since and wasn’t far away last time, ground this quick is a question mark but she is considered.
NEOLA – Won her maiden well and was quietly fancied for the Group 2 Queen Mary where she ran a massive race to finish fifth, hasn’t quite built on that and has become a bit disappointing since then and others make more appeal in this context.
ONE MINUTE – Has a slightly patchy record but just about sets the standard having finished a close up fourth in a fillies Group 3 two starts ago as well as having beaten subsequent Group 3 winner Abel Handy in a novice race earlier in the season.
REVIVED – Sent off a double figure price on debut and ran respectably, was smashed into 6/5 on her next start at and landed the odds in good style, she is in much deeper here and will need a step forward but that is not out of the question.
