34/1 & 8/1 Accumulator Winners

A new addition to myracing is our American Tips, which are in their second week. It didn’t take long to get off the mark with a clean sweep last Friday and it was brilliant to add a 34/1 Accumulator winner to the results on Thursday night! That ended a great evening as an 8/1 Acca went in on our Greyhound Tips just a couple of hours earlier!

How We Did It

34/1 American Acca

Leg #1 (Summer Disco – 5/2 Next Best) was well found in the market, being sent off the 6/4 favourite. Settling in midfield early, the five year old gelding boasted a better turn of foot than his rivals in the home straight, finding plenty for pressure to score by a cosy couple of lengths.

Leg #2 (Hollywood Hills – 6/4 NAP) made it three wins from four starts at Golden Gate Fields in impressive style. On the back foot early, she took closer order round the home bend before readily scooting clear of the field in the final furlong.

Leg #3 (On The Lam – 3/1) was heavily backed into 7/4 market leader for the final leg of our Acca, but the win wasn’t as comfortable as it was looking early in the straight. Gita’s Lad closed all the way to the line, but couldn’t get to On The Lam who held on by a diminishing margin to land our second American Acca at 34/1!!

8/1 Greyhound Acca

Leg #1 (Queen Beyonce – 11/10) looked in control for the entirety of the contest having got out of the traps well. She showed electric pace around the first bend to secure the lead and the gap back to the chasing pack continued to grow down the back. The winning distance was two and three quarter lengths but she was value for more than that.

Leg #2 (Trade Fudge – 6/5 NAP) showed tremendous early speed to put the race to bed as quickly as it had begun. He swooped round the outside of the field to grab the lead at the first bend and the margin back to his rivals continued to grow as he ran out a facile four and a quarter length winner.

Leg #3 (Droopys Gold – 13/8 Next Best) had a much closer race than the pair of selections that preceded him, but got the job done nonetheless. Always on the front end thanks to a quick get away, he showed a very willing attitude to hold off the challenges of Ballymac Osby and Rackethall Jess near the line. 8/1 Greyhound Acca LANDED!
