3.27 Chelmsford – Louis Roederer Queen Charlotte Fillies’ Stakes

A tasty Listed race in prospect here where Royal Dynasty officially has a bit to find at the weights but she has some rock solid form at Chelmsford this season. Two runs, two wins here in the past, those two efforts a long way ahead of the rest of her career form.

Most of her rivals have shown their best on turf so that has to be a tick in the box for her with her pick on Polytrack. Her yard don’t have the same quality that they did in the past but with eight runners and three places on offer, she has each way claims and deserves a shot at some black type.

3.35 Market Rasen – Rase Vets Handicap Chase

He has not been in much form for the last eleven months but the return to Market Rasen is a huge plus for Little Stevie. He has run at the track three times, winning on all three occasions. The most recent of those was last August off a mark of 107, his other two wins off 102 and 99.

It is off the middle of those marks, 102, that he finds himself for this assignment. This is a quarter of a mile further than his three wins which asks a different question of him but his recent runs suggest that he is worth a try as he has been getting outpaced.
