Trainer with three winners from her last five runners sends two on Thursday 🔥

Venetia Williams is in flying form at the moment and has had 12 winners from her 28 runners in the last fortnight. The Herefordshire-based trainer had two runners at Lingfield on Tuesday and both of them won. She’s set to send out another two runners on Thursday and they simply have to be of interest. Williams sends one runner apiece to Wincanton and Market Rasen and both have huge chances. You can check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.40 Wincanton

Tanganyika won on hurdles debut in France and managed to get off the mark in Britain at Carlisle back in February. It was a nice performance and he beat a useful Irish raider by a cosy margin of three lengths. He didn’t quite back that win up in two subsequent starts but he should be fully acclimatised now. Currently rated 4lb higher than when winning at Carlisle, Ned Fox takes 5lb off which leaves him on a very nice mark. Everything Venetia Williams touches is turning to gold at the moment and it would be no surprise if Tanganyika was to progress this season.

2.50 Market Rasen

Haut Folin is another French import and he managed to win two chases over there. It’s fair to say he struggled in his first season in Britain as he pulled up in three of his four starts. The six-year-old looked like a completely different animal when winning easily at Ffos Las earlier this month. He carries a 7lb penalty as a result of that win but he’s due to up 8lb. Unlikely to be competing in 0-110 races for much longer, there should be loads of improvement to come.
