Three horses who will love heavy ground at Ffos Las form 38-1 accumulator 🌧️

It’s an All-Weather day on Wednesday, with three meetings on the synthetic surface. Wolverhampton, Dundalk and Kempton are all on the docket, with Ffos Las joining them as a the sole jumps meeting of the day. We’ll have horse racing tips for all three, including a NAP of the Day.

Ffos Las is a notoriously tough venue to get home in when the ground is heavy. You need a horse proven in the conditions to be successful and we’ve found three horses who fit that profile on Wednesday. They make into an 38-1 accumulator at the details can be found below.

1.10 Ffos Las – Vindico Think Purple Handicap Chase

Reliable and Templier don’t go hand in hand, but he relished a return to softer going when bolting up in heavy ground at Warwick on New Year’s Eve. That was a clinical performance from a well-handicapped horse and he’s clearly well-in under a seven-pound penalty.

His record on heavy ground reads 122, so he clearly relishes a slog in the mud, and being kept on this surface will give him the best possible chance of replicating his Warwick heroics five days on.

2.20 Ffos Las – West Wales Raiders Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase

A three-time winner over hurdles, all three of those victories came on heavy ground for Gustavian. He was making his seasonal/chasing debut at Uttoxeter two starts ago, running well behind two horses who have subsequently franked the form.

He was favourite to make it second-time lucky at Exeter on New Year’s Day, but he suffered an unseat at the first. Connections waste little time in turning him out again and off the same rating, he may be capable of making amends.

3.25 Ffos Las – Cazoo Handicap Chase

Venetia Williams’s horses tend to do well on softer ground and Eleanor Bob is no different. Both her wins under rules have come on heavy ground and she ran a great race over course and distance two starts ago.

She led all the way to three-out, where several poor jumps took their toll and she ultimately weakened on the run-in. It’s still early days for her over fences and a tilt at Listed company last time was ambitious. Back in handicaps, at peak fitness, she should be right on the premises.
