Three horses who are unbeaten on heavy ground make up an 85-1 Lingfield treble 💯

Full Irish winning at Lingfield Park

Conditions are going to be hard work at Lingfield again on Sunday with heavy ground the order of the day. The ITV Racing cameras are in situ again as well as at Thurles. That leaves Warwick to complete the afternoon’s racing for our free horse racing tips.

We have an 85-1 treble at Lingfield made up of horses who are unbeaten on heavy ground. William Hill are the best priced at time of writing.

2.25 Lingfield – Weatherbys Cheltenham Festival Betting Guide Hurdle

Having returned to hurdles last time out with a wide-margin win, it’s interesting that Darver Star is part of a Gavin Cromwell raiding party. He is 2/2 on heavy ground so far, including  that most recent success that came at Punchestown.

He was good enough in his youth to finish placed in a Champion Hurdle and while he is not close to that level these days, the engine is clearly still in good enough order to be competitive in races such as this.

3.00 Lingfield – Fleur De Lys Chase

It’s easy to like Dashel Drasher as it generally is with all brave front-running types.  He showed his usual grit and determination to add a Newbury success over hurdles when last in action. This is a return to the bigger obstacles and with a heavy ground record that currently reads 111, he is going to prove hard to pass once more.

4.08 Lingfield – Winter Million Novices’ Handicap Hurdle

Global Agreement is the biggest price of the three. Milton Harris has enjoyed a superb season, this gelding chipping in with a perfect 2/2 on heavy ground. The first of those came over course and distance, adding a Wetherby win earlier in the month.

He is up another four pounds here and pitched into a better race but that allows him to run off bottom weight. Still only a five-year-old, he is in the best shape of his life at present so should be right in the mix once more.
