Tuesday’s racing offers an interesting midweek proposition with three jumps meetings; two in Britain, Catterick and Leicester, and one in Ireland from Gowran Park. This is followed up by some competitive evening all-weather racing from Newcastle. Among this action there are four runners who standout as clear from their rivals on Racing Post Ratings and can be combined to form an accumulator.
The Skelton’s are not frequent visitors to Catterick but they bring Real Stone to compete in the novice hurdle which begins the Yorkshire card. This gelding won at a big price at Aintree in October, beating Danny Kirwan and Torn and Frayed that day.
He has disappointed somewhat since but he is seven pounds clear on RPRs and anything near that Aintree effort would make him very hard to beat in this field.
Lucy Wadham’s Somekindofstar was impressive when shedding his maiden tag over fences at Market Rasen in December before a poor hurdle run just a week later that his trainer said had come too quickly.
The nine-year-old has been freshened up after that with a three month break and is five pounds clear on RPRs. The blinkers worn first time for that Market Rasen win are retained and he can resume his progress here over fences and should be involved at the finish.

Mark Johnson’s Kehailaan is a short price here but comes equipped with rock solid claims. He came a long way clear over the straight mile here on racecourse debut with a progressive odds on shot and lost nothing in defeat that day.
The extra two furlongs here should suit him down to the ground as his dam won over 1m4f and this well related colt is four pounds clear on RPRs.
Cuban Cigar has been knocking on the door in handicap company, and Richard Hannon’s charge may have found the ideal opportunity to break his duck here.
He has made the frame in four of his six handicap starts and continues his partnership with seven pound claimer Luke Catton. He’s clear on Racing Post Ratings and if the switch to Tapeta can bring out any further improvement, he should go close.
