Sunday ITV Outsiders: Well-bred filly can go close in the 1,000 Guineas at 25-1 🏇

Billesdon Brook wins the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket

The feature race on the final day of the three day Newmarket meeting is the 1,000 Guineas and it is a ferociously competitive affair on paper. Make sure that you check out our free horse racing tips each day. Adrian Wall has highlighted some horses at good prices who should outrun their good odds on Sunday afternoon. Best of luck if you follow and bet responsibly.

1.50 Newmarket

Not a massive outsider as such but I think the price about Golden Flame (8/1) is going to look very large come Sunday afternoon. William Buick is in the form of his life so that is a major plus for this horse already. The Golden Horn colt has an absence to overcome against some race fit rivals, but if he gets a handy lead out in front here and chances are he might, then he could prove very hard to reel back in.

2.25 Newmarket

James Doyle will partner Arion (10/1) in the Pretty Polly for trainer Hugo Palmer and I think she should be single digits myself. The Dubawi filly was second here over 7f on debut and went on to back that run up with a good win at Chelmsford. This straighter track should suit her more and she is one that should keep improving stepping up in trip.

3.40 Newmarket

Ameynah (25/1) looks overpriced at first glance off the back of a visually excellent performance here at Newmarket over 7f when last seen. She travelled powerfully through the race and quickened clear inside the final furlong to win by a few lengths and more improvement could be on the cards.
