Punchestown Punts: Liam goes for 25-1, 16-1 & 12-1 outsiders on Tuesday ☘️☘️

Last week was a good week for myracing with big price winners in ITV races on Friday and Saturday. We’re back with three outsiders running at Punchestown on Tuesday which is Day 1 of the big end of season festival. It kicks off with a bang as there are three captivating Grade 1s and a competitive handicap hurdle to sink your teeth into. 4.50 Punchestown

In From The Cold (25-1, bet365) was fourth in a Grade 3 novice hurdle when last seen over hurdles. The second is now competing in the Grade 1 novice race on this card having finished third at Aintree behind Jonbon since. There were a couple of useful types in behind and if he can take that form into handicap company he should run a big race at a price.

5.25 Punchestown

Andy Dufresne (16-1, bet365 and William Hill) ran a monster of race when second in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham after a long break. He gave the winner 19lb whose performance came out of nowhere. If one of the top two disappoints or doesn’t complete, this horse could be the one to step up. He hasn’t quite fulfilled his potential but injuries have played their part. This race represents a big opportunity to show he deserves to be seated at the big table.

6.35 Punchestown

Lifetime Ambition (12-1, William Hill) looks like good value in this generally winnable Grade 1. Bob Olinger is the standout candidate on his first attempt to three miles. There are plenty of question marks surrounding a number of the other runners but Lifetime Ambition is unexposed at this trip. It was a successful decision to step him up to an extended three miles last time as he stayed on really strongly to win by over four lengths in a Grade 3 at Limerick. He obviously has to improve but there should be more to come from him over staying distances being a three-mile point winner.
