Partnership with 63% strike rate in last two weeks teams up for sole Sunday runner

Wincanton Racecourse

The week comes to a close with four meetings, as we bid to continue a strong recent run with our NAPs! Wincanton, Galway, Wexford and Aintree are on the docket and we’ll have horse racing tips from all four, including accumulator and Lucky 15 tips!

One trainer and jockey combination who have enjoyed an electric start to the jump’s action is Mitchell Bastyan and Milton Harris. They’ve teamed up on eight occasions in the last two weeks, which has resulted in five winners. That includes an 11-1 winner earlier in the week and they partner up again for a sole Sunday representative at Wincanton. Find out who below!

The runner in question is Sufi, who goes for the pairing in the finale. He’s perhaps better known as a flat horse, rated 79 at his peak in that sphere. He possesses just the sole win on the flat, however, and overall, he’s 2/46 under rules. That includes 11 starts over hurdles, though there is reason to believe he can be competitive today.

He gained his sole win over hurdles off a rating of 114, so his current mark of 101 sees him extremely well-treated. Two recent starts at Plumpton and Exeter have been better than the bare results, facing two very stiff tasks and ultimately running up to near his best, just four below his peak RPR at Exeter last time.

That suggests he’s coming back to the boil and this is certainly his easiest task in some time. He’ll have his ideal conditions and with the fitting of the blinkers having the potential to help him, he’s not to be underestimated for red-hot connections.
