The Tote is a growing commodity in the UK and its customers will be able to bet into massive Tote Superpools for all 36 races at Royal Ascot this week.
This is an ingenious new concept from the operator who are seemingly taking note of the huge success Hong Kong have had from their Superpools even during the coronavirus pandemic.
How we live life is going to change massively in the coming months and years and betting firms are also going to change how they approach the game with a lack of spectators going through the gates plus the real possibility that many high-street bookmakers will close.
The Tote will be joining forces with International pools such as Hong Kong and other leading racing nations to ensure there is a huge amount of liquidity provided for racing fans all around the world.
For Royal Ascot, this means people globally will be able to bet into a single pool on British racing’s most prestigious race meeting so the returns could be pretty rewarding.
This is the initial trial to see how the operation goes but Tote plans to expand the Superpools eventually to other British race meetings in the very near future.
The World Pool, which was created last year, saw pools grow by over 400% from £17.9 million in 2018 to an incredible £92.2 million in 2019.
The Diamond Jubilee was the highlight, producing the first Win pool that exceeded a million pounds on the last day of the Royal meeting.
Last year, Tote returns beat the industry starting price by a whopping 32% over the entire week so it certainly seems to pay.
