He rarely goes this far north! Monster 6,327-1 William Buick acca at Hamilton 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

William Buick has made the trip up to Hamilton for just six rides in the last five years. Three of those six have won and another two have finished second. It’s therefore an ominous sign for the other jockeys that he’s set to double his riding tally at the Scottish track on Tuesday. Clearly Buick doesn’t like to waste his ammunition so we’ve put all six of his rides into a monster accumulator. Check out our free tips page for daily content across all British and Irish racing.

1.15 Hamilton

Not a lot went right for Lumacho (7-2, bet365) on debut when favourite. She was bumped and hung to the right on a left-handed track so the straight 6f here should help her. Improvement will be needed but she should have learned plenty from her debut.

2.15 Hamilton

Frisky (2-1, bet 365) has been ultra-consistent in her five career starts to date. Simon Pearce’s filly looks like a winner-in-waiting and was unfortunate to bump into one at Bath last time out. It seems as if she has been presented with a good opportunity to break her maiden tag here.

2.45 Hamilton

Sip And Smile (4-1, bet365) has barely run a bad race in his eight career starts and is already a three-time winner. Another step forward will be necessary especially as he’s taking on the older horses for the first time but the 10lb three-year-old allowance should help.

3.15 Hamilton

Charles St (11-4, bet 365) seems to have been presented with an easier task than in his last three handicap starts. He’s perhaps unfortunate to have been left on the same mark as when finishing fourth last time but on the form of his two seconds before that, he shouldn’t be far away.

3.50 Hamilton

Judy’s Park (4-1, William Hill) is now rated 5lb higher than when last winning but the three-year-old filly has been tough and consistent since. The 7lb allowance she receives should help her negotiate the step up in class and you would be brave to rule out another big run.

4.25 Hamilton

Refuge (4-1, bet 365) was a last time out winner over course and distance. Off just a 2lb higher mark, the gelding should be capable of getting into the winners enclosure again. The only negative would be that his form suggests some cut in the ground would be preferred.
