This horse is running in the 9.00 and it could be worth keeping an eye on events as they unfold. Having been available at a massive 50-1 to last night, the price has capitulated and there’s no signs of that stopping. 10-1 is the largest available price at time of writing with some firms only offering 8-1. Oi The Clubb Oi’s is a two-time winner on the flat who made a comeback over course and distance last month after a lengthy absence of 482 days. This horse isn’t the easy to train as he’s only had five starts since July 2020. His injury record makes the gamble even more interesting as the time off has resulted in a reduced handicap mark.

It was a relatively poor effort upon his return when finishing last of seven last time out. In his defence, he’s entitled to improve significantly for that run but he’ll definitely need to. He last won off a mark of 67 at Nottingham in June 2019. His current mark is 3lb lower which bodes well if he can rekindle his form from his younger days.

It’s certainly interesting that this horse is the subject of such a big gamble and there will be plenty of interested parties eagerly waiting to see the outcome.
