Friday’s market movers: 4 monster punts from 100-1 into 16-1 and shorter 📉

Sedgefield Racecourse

Just over three weeks until Christmas and we have four of the biggest market movers we have seen in a long time. All four of these started at 100-1 when the markets opened last night and are now a fraction of the price. The first three are all much bigger with bet365 than elsewhere at time of writing.

There is an excellent day of ITV Racing at Sandown and Exeter today with our horse racing tips covering all races shown live as well as for the other meetings in action.

12.55 Exeter – Martin Jones Decretive Specialists EBF National Hunt Novices’ Hurdle

Sweet Nightingale (100-1 -> 12-1) is the first mover of the day. She was very keen on her return to action at Wincanton in a race run at a steady gallop. She shaped well enough, only beaten eleven lengths when things clearly didn’t go her way. That was a big step up on her bumper form and she could make another if she settles better.

3.25 Sedgefield – Paxtons Best For Genuine Kverneland Metal Open National Hunt Flat Race

Two movers in here from triple-figure prices, the first of those is Lenny (100-1 -> 14-1) for Chris Grant. He showed no more than a modicum of promise on his Catterick debut but the softer ground here should suit better. This track is the only course that his yard have a level stakes profit in bumpers which is of some interest.

The second is the Micky Hammond-trained Countess Olivia (100-1 -> 16-1.) She has not been seen for a year, trying to take on Eileendover on her race debut at Wetherby. She did not show an awful lot there but she is a half-sister to the very smart flat performer Nuit St Georges.

4.30 Dundalk – Irishinjuredjockeys.com Maiden

Gudrun Genberg (100-1>14-1) is yet to show much in a pair of maidens. She improved her RPR a touch on her second start which came over seven furlongs at this track, stepping up to a mile now. Her dam is a half sister to a number of National Hunt horses so perhaps the longer trip can improve her.
