1.50 Kempton – Close Brothers Pendil Novices’ Chase

The return to a sound surface has the potential to help Ga Law who should get a relatively easy lead in this small field. He wasn’t helped last time out when taken on up front by Allmankind but he was far from disgraced. Back up in trip on a speed track is a plus and he can outstay his main rival.

If you back any of our selections you can watch them live on the free Racing Post app or racingpost.com. Simply log in to one of your bookmaker accounts and click ‘Watch live’ on the racecards.

2.25 Kempton – Close Brothers Adonis Juvenile Hurdle

Another who should appreciate a sounder surface is Tritonic. He won on soft ground on his hurdling debut at Ascot but the majority of his flat form came on better ground so he can lay down a marker for the Triumph at the Cheltenham Festival next month.

2.40 Lingfield – Betway Winter Derby Stakes

A big step up in class for Father Of Jazz but he looks well worth it. He absolutely thrashed a field of solid yardsticks here last time out despite still looking green. He has a huge engine and looks more than capable of being a proper Group race horse as he continues to mature.
