Listed action first up with the Marygate Fillies’ Stakes over five furlongs for two year olds, won in 2018 by subsequent Royal Ascot winner Signora Cabello.

Three year old fillies follow at the same class level, this time over a mile, with only one winning favourite in the last six years making it a tricky one for punters.

The Yorkshire Cup is the highlight of Friday, which was won by subsequent Gold Cup and Stayers Million victor Stradivarius in 2018. He will have to concede a penalty this time around which could potentially open the door for an up and coming stayer.

Two handicaps fill the next couple of spots with the first being over the same distance as the Dante and the other over seven furlongs for three year old fillies.

A five furlong sprint handicap ahead of a 0-85 contest over a mile and half which has been won by the market leader in three of the past four seasons, is a good way to end the Dante Festival.
