‘I find it hard to believe the price’ – Adrian tips 25-1 Irish raider for Sandown feature 🤞🏼

1.50 Sandown

Zacony Rebel (33-1) was no match for Earth Lord when well beaten by that runner at Kempton last time out but he went close at Huntingdon from a 1lb lower mark back in December so a reproduction of that would give him every chance in this. Obviously, this is a much tougher assignment but he should be suited to a larger field here.

2.05 Haydock

This is a risky proposition as he has been off the track for 634 days but if Sir Dancealot (16-) retains any of his old ability, the price on offer looks huge. Now in the hands of John Butler who is in cracking form at present, the eight-year-old was last seen finishing a creditable fifth to Space Blues in the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood. He has mixed it at the highest level and could be a class above in handicap company on his return.

3.32 Sandown

I find it hard to believe the price of Hewick (25-1), whose run in the Midlands National at Uttoxeter can be forgiven last time. He was badly hampered by a loose horse when travelling well and had to be pulled up as a consequence. Prior to that, he was a fine winner of the Durham National at Sedgefield back in October. He has no ground or trip concerns and Jordan Gainford takes off a valuable 3lb.
