7.50pm Kempton Tips & Betting Preview 25/10/2017

7.50pm Kempton tips for Wednesday’s Class 4 contest raced over 7f for two year-olds. Read on for our free betting tips, predictions and analysis.

IN SUMMARY: A tricky handicap to solve but the value may remain with MOTOWN MICK. Richard Hannon’s runner has been raised another 5lbs in the handicap but the form of his Windsor victory is solid and he can follow up again and make it a hat-trick of wins today. Ghayadh can give him most to think about now stepping up in trip to 7f.

1 DI FEDE – Useful filly who has placed on her last three starts over varying trips and on different ground. The drop back in trip and switch to the All-Weather is a positive having won at Kempton previously and she’s entitled to go well again off a reasonable mark.

2 HE MUMS – It would be too harsh to judge John Gosden’s filly based on her heavy defeat in a Class 2 event at Doncaster last time out. She races in first-time cheekpieces today which is an interesting move and she has to prove she’s as well-suited to 7f as 6f.

3 MOTOWN MICK – Did well to follow up a Chepstow success with another win at Windsor last time out in a decent affair. A 5lb rise is fair and he’s entitled to go well again from stall 3. He will require a career best and the handicapper is gaining his grip but there could be one win left in him at this stage.

4 FINSBURY PARK – Sole success came in a novice stakes race earlier in the year and he’s produced mixed form in handicaps since. He was well-beaten over a mile last time out but that may have proved too far so it’s positive to see him back at 7f today. A mark of 79 looks fair.

5 GHAYADH – Won on racecourse debut at Beverley and he’s another runner seeking his first handicap success. He tries 7f for the first time today which looks far enough for him but he looks to be improving all the time and he wasn’t disgraced in a much stronger race than this at York back in August.

6 BARIG AL THUMAMA – Makes his handicap debut today having placed three times in a row in maiden and novice stakes company. A mark of 77 looks reasonable based on those efforts and the step up in trip to 7f definitely appeared to make a positive impact last time out. Interesting.

7 SORORITY – 6-race maiden who has produced some varied form to date. She’s been well-beaten on her last couple of starts and her best form has come in weak races which is a concern. A mark of 67 looks fair but she has it all to do in this grade.
