.00pm Haydock Tips & Betting Preview 23/12/2017

IN SUMMARYCap Soleil fluffed her lines at prohibitive odds last time and may well be worth taking on again with ANGELS ANTICS who was only just behind the former last time out and is a much bigger price in a competitive heat.

CAP SOLEIL – A lovely mare who was unbeaten in three bumpers and put up a dazzling display on her hurdling debut to win by seven lengths. She was well put in her place last time however at odds of 2/5 and in testing conditions she may well be worth opposing.

ANGELS ANTICS – Improved on her opening effort over hurdles to score by nine lengths at a canter on her second attempt over timber. She ran well when upped markedly in grade last time and was not far behind the much shorter priced Cap Soleil, a very interesting contender.

COURT ARTIST – Willie Mullins hasn’t had many runners in Britain this season but sends this mare over after she recorded a decisive victory over the useful Barra at Wexford. She will have no trouble with the ground and her trainer/jockey combination are flying.

LITTLE PIPPIN – Has had just the one start in her career to date over hurdles but was rated just 48 on the flat and looks well out of her depth here.

MOLLY THE DOLLY – Switched to the Skeltons after a couple of runs in bumpers for Ian Williams and could hardly have been more impressive on her debut over timber. She won by miles and with ease and is unexposed but this is much harder and she needs to improve again.
