Our horse racing racecards service is aimed to help you, the punter. It’s designed to give you an easy guide to today’s racing fixtures. We only show races which have yet to be run – all past races can be found in our Results section. The racecards are listed in time order and include all today’s horse racing fixtures for the UK & Ireland, including the biggest festivals like Cheltenham, Aintree, Punchestown, Royal Ascot and Goodwood. We work with the belief that every race and every meeting is important, so we’ll give exactly the same coverage to a Monday night meeting at Windsor or an ITV Racing covered race at Newmarket.
We provide racecards for fixtures on both At The Races and Racing UK, as well as for tomorrow’s racing – for racecards for tomorrow, just click the date selector and check tomorrow’s date. If they aren’t currently available, please check back later; they are generally available around 16 hours before the meeting starts.
To access a racecard for an individual race, click on View next to the race name and you’ll be taken to the dedicated racecard page. Starting at the top, you can see the name of the race, the class (from Grade 1 to Class 7) and the age requirement for runners. Each Way / Places displays the terms currently offered at leading bookmakers such as bet365, Betfair, Paddy Power and William Hill – these are usually the standard terms which follow these rules:
The bookmakers that you’ll find on our racecards offer extra place specials on the biggest races and for various races throughout the week. These will be reflected on our racecards page so you don’t need to check with each bookmaker!
Once you’ve made your selection, click the odds button in line with your horse and a window will appear showing the best bookmakers in the industry to provide you with a choice of where to back it. As well as showing the top sign up offers from each bookmaker, clicking the bet here button will see your selection added straight to your betslip to make your betting experience as easy as possible. The horses on the racecards are laid out in market order, with the number of the horse at the start of the line. Next to that in brackets is the stall the horse has been drawn in, a crucial bit of information.
To help you make your selection, you can access more information by clicking on the horse’s name on both today’s and tomorrow’s racecards. This will cause the horse’s information to slide out with all the key details. Jockey and trainer are obviously crucial, along with age and weight. Recent form shows how well they’ve been running, Last Run is the number of days since their last outing and the forecast is the forecast decimal odds according to Timeform.
