Wolverhampton regulars: four course specialists form Lucky 15 on Thursday 🍀

Wolverhampton is back with another eight-race card on Thursday and it can often pay to select horses with good course records wherever it is. 1.10 Wolverhampton

Pink Jazz (5-1, bet365) finishes in the frame more often than not at Wolverhampton with a record of three wins and two places in nine starts. His last course and distance win came in December 2020 off a mark of 63. The handicapper has hammered him since but has relented recently. John Butler’s gelding now finds himself on a mark of 60 and in this grade he should be going close.

1.45 Wolverhampton

Frame Rate (11-4, bet365) has an enviable record of two wins, three seconds and a third in nine starts at Wolverhampton. The stats suggest that he’s more likely to make the frame than not. His last win over course and distance came off a 6lb lower mark two starts ago. That was an impressive eight-length victory so he shouldn’t be ruled out off this higher mark.

3.50 Wolverhampton

Q Twenty Boy (5-1, bet365) is a two-time winner here and has placed a further four times. His last win came over course and distance four starts ago which coincidently was his last run at this track. Back at his happy hunting ground, another big run can be expected off a 3lb higher mark.

5.00 Wolverhampton

Daheer‘s (7-2, Bet365) record of five wins and a second in eight completed starts over course and distance is phenomenal and for that reason he has to be considered. The handicapper put him just 1lb for winning over course and distance last time out so it’s hard to imagine him not going close.
