There is some cracking racing taking place on both sides of the Irish Sea on Tuesday. Focusing on Ireland, Willie Mullins could be primed to take off at Leopardstown. The three biggest races on the card could well go his way. His runners in these races form a juicy 45-1 treble which could upset the bookies. Mullins has three of the seven runners in this race which gives him an awesome chance of sweeping another Grade 1 prize. Chacun Pour Soi (7-5, Paddy Power) is the market leader and represents his best chance of the three runners. This horse needs no introduction and has the least to prove, especially at his favourite track. He’s a four-time Grade 1 winner here and has a great opportunity to add to that tally. One concern would be the lack of a previous run but there’s no superstars in opposition and he should therefore get away with it.
Facile Vega (2-7, Paddy Power) is one of the most exciting horses in training. A son of the great Quevega, he was awesome in bumpers before making a mockery of the field on hurdles debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month. Winning this is not expected to be a problem and his unbeaten record is likely to be maintained. Can win this before possibly taking in the Dublin Racing festival en route to Cheltenham.
Ciel De Neige (14-1, bet365) is a fascinating contender upped to three miles for the first time. Mullins has plenty of runners in this race but this one is the selection of Paul Townend. Has an excellent record over fences with three wins and a second in five starts. This is a competitive race but he has the potential to be unexposed as a second-season chaser.
