Wednesday outsiders: 33-1, 20-1 and 14-1 tips to sink your teeth into 🐎

There’s plenty of competitive action to sink your teeth into on Wednesday afternoon with three Flat turf meetings taking place as well as two jumps cards from Kelso and Sligo. Liam Bramall has opted for three outsiders who may outrun their substantial odds. These selections come from Sandown, Yarmouth and Beverley. Our outsiders have been very successful in recent weeks and we’ll be looking to strike again. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

2.10 Yarmouth

Katyusha (14-1, William Hill) is quickly sliding down the handicap which makes Charlie Fellowes’ filly an interesting proposition. On some of her best form, this is a good opportunity to get off the mark at the 11th time of asking. Her two best efforts both came here off a 5lb higher mark which suggests she could be capable of winning under these conditions. Obviously she has a lot to prove after two very poor efforts in her last couple of starts but looks capable of much better.

5.05 Beverley

George Risdale (33-1, William Hill) doesn’t look like a 33-1 shot to me and it looks like a ridiculous price. Michael and David Easterby’s can easily be forgiven for his below-par seasonal debut here last month. That was his first start for over 600 days and would have needed it badly. The return to 1m2f should be a big help and it’s likely that he’s significantly sharper for this. Now down to a mark just 3lb higher than when last winning, we should see a much better performance from him.

5.10 Sandown

Mrembo (20-1, bet365) looks overpriced here on the balance of her form. She ran extremely well at Newmarket two starts ago when finishing third by a length-and-a-quarter. That was off a 2lb higher mark so a repeat of that effort here should put her right in the mix. Still 8lb higher than when last winning but she’s not massively experienced and shouldn’t be completely exposed.
