Three cards make up the action on Sunday, Lingfield and Hereford in England and Thurles in Ireland. All will feature in our free horse racing tips, though with inspections at the latter pair, the weather needs to be kind for us to get more than just Lingfield.
That track has been a happy hunting ground so far in 2021 for Mark Loughnane. His horses are 3/8 at Lingfield this year for a level stakes profit of +£44,20. IT’s all the more interesting given that his runners are 0/18 combined at the other five All-Weather tracks.
Loughnane sends two horses to the Surrey course on Sunday afternoon which combine to make up a 54/1 double at time of writing.
2.10 Lingfield – Bombardier British-Hopped Amber Beer Handicap
It was a market shock that Rogue Tide got up in the final stride over course and distance last time out. He was 40/1 on that occasion but that certainly won’t be on offer from a three-pound higher mark. An RPR of 79 for that success twelve days ago was the best of his career, coming on his first start under Luke Morris. Morris is in the plate again on Sunday which has to be a plus.
4.10 Lingfield – Play 4 To Win At Betway Handicap
Headgear roulette continues with an eye-shield added to blinkers on Sunday for Jackstar. A first run in both cheekpieces and when sporting a hood saw solid efforts so the new aids are interesting. Seven furlongs is his trip his most recent success coming from two pounds higher.
Both wins on a synthetic surface have come at Wolverhampton but he shaped well on his sole run here in December 2019 and has only had three runs for the yard so there is the potential for them to find a touch more.
