Trainer with £21.85 profit and 55% strike-rate at Stratford this season has 1 runner on Sunday!

Stratford Racecourse

We’re early into the jumps season, but there’s already some profitable statistics and trends to follow! Stratford has been running throughout the summer and as a result, there is plenty of data to go on.

Stratford is a very popular venue and a niche one at that. It’s a very tight, left-handed track, set in beautiful countryside. One certain trainer has clearly noticed, as his in-form runners have ended up at Stratford a lot in 2020!

We’ll have horse racing tips for all four of the meetings on Sunday, including a NAP of the Day and Lucky 15 tips. Keep reading, however, to find the details on this mysterious trainer!

Staying close to home!

Charlie Longsdon is the man to follow at Stratford this season! He’s sent eleven runners to the venue this campaign, with six returning to the winner’s enclosure. That equates to a stellar profit of £21.85 to level stakes, which is a very healthy profit margin.

That record is perhaps less surprising when you realise that Stratford is just 20 miles away from his base at Hull Farm Stables. The Chipping Norton based trainer has just one runner at Stratford on Sunday and given his superb record at the track this season, it needs plenty of attention.

First British success awaits?

Winning three times over fences in France, Kapsize is awaiting his first success on British shores since joining Charlie Longsdon. There has been plenty of positive signs, far from disgraced in a pair of recent handicap starts off higher ratings.

Late mistakes hampered his chance at Plumpton on his most recent outing, but the handicapper has given him a helping hand by dropping him three pounds in the ratings. He’s now thirteen pounds below his opening mark and he’s pitched into a race where plenty have something to prove.

Ground conditions are in his favour and Tom Buckley’s seven-pound claim is another obvious positive. He runs off a featherweight compared to his main market rivals and there’s plenty of reason to be positive about his chances.
