Trainer with 100% strike-rate at Exeter this season has one Thursday runner 💯

Runners at the start at Exeter

It’s a bumper day of racing on Thursday, with no less than five meetings to look forward too! Naas, Exeter, Ffos Las and Southwell host the afternoon action, before Chelmsford takes over for an evening on the All-Weather. We’ll have horse racing tips for all five meetings, including a NAP of the Day and Lucky 15 tips.

One trainer who will be happy that Exeter is on the docket is Jane Williams. The Devon-based trainer has a blemish-free record at the venue in 2021, with three winners from a total of three runners. Winning with four of her last 11 runners in the last two weeks, she’s enjoying a purple patch too.

She has just one runner at Exeter tomorrow and you can find out all the details on that horse below!

2.15 Exeter – EBF Mares’ Novices’ Chase

Her sole runner on the card is Galice Macalo, who runs in the familiar orange colours of Culverhill Racing Club. She was a three-time winner over hurdles for Williams, gaining the most recent of those successes at Chepstow three starts ago. She made her seasonal return at Exeter in October, going down narrowly in a highly competitive race that included Allmankind.

Her latest run in the Grade 3 Greatwood at Cheltenham was better than the bare result suggests and this is a much easier race. She makes her chasing debut off a mark of 130, which is more than achievable, and she’ll be ridden by the electric Chester Williams, who has won on 50% of his last 10 runners.

She has the scope to make a much better chaser and the best of her hurdling form, coupled with the red-hot form of both stable and jockey, make her an obvious player on her debut in this sphere.
