Trainer who’s +£49.88 at Goodwood has one runner at the track on Sunday

Four meetings on Sunday, a bit of a relief for our horse racing tips after a busy nine cards on Saturday. There are cards at Listowel and Kilbeggan in Ireland and at Perth and Goodwood in the U.K. It’s the latter that we are concentrating on here with an interesting runner in the seller.

The David O’Meara yard have a very smart record at Goodwood, producing a level stakes profit of £49.88 since the start of 2019. As such, any runner sent down from Yorkshire needs a second look, especially when it’s the only runner for the yard on the card and more so when she’s sent down for a seller!

2.55 Goodwood – Long View Selling Stakes

Wee Loch Lass is the filly in question, a winner at Carlisle having been placed on her first three starts. She has clocked an RPR of 70+ in all four of her races so far, the rest of this field not producing a single run to that level from a combined twenty-one starts.

That alone very much makes her the one that they all have to beat and now having got her head in front, her confidence should be high. She was less than a length behind Dairerin two starts back, that one sent off favourite for the Woodcote at Epsom on Friday, finishing third.

Early speed won her the race at Carlisle so this sharper track should not be an issue for her and given the record of her trainer when making the journey down from the north, she is likely to be very hard to pass if she gets on the front end down the hill at Goodwood.
