Jet Of Stars won his Irish point in good style and showed a fair amount of potential when landing an Ayr bumper by just shy of 10 lengths on his first start under rules in March. Making his first start over hurdles here, he could be one to follow this season.
Tamarind Bay has taken very well to fences this summer and has won all three of his completed starts over the larger obstacles. He coped well with the step up to three miles at Bangor, where he won by four lengths last time out, and another big run could be on the cards.
The switch to handicaps has brought the best out of Dan Skelton’s Delgany Second Now and he has won all three starts since. It’s worth noting that the handicapper has had their say since, hitting him with a substantial rise, but he looks like one to keep on side.

Course: It’s a very flat and fair track with 8 fences jumped per circuit on the chase course. Because of it’s forgiving and relatively easy nature, it suits many types of horses for our tips. There is a very long run-in from the final fence so it’s not unusual to see the lead change hands after the last!
Feature Race: The Gold Castle National Hunt Novices’ Hurdle was upgraded to Listed status in 2017 and takes place towards the end of April.
