This Trainer is +£51.75 at Dundalk in 2020 and has 1 Runner on Wednesday

Wednesday’s racing comes from Warwick, Ffos Las, Hexham and Kempton in the UK and Dundalk in Ireland. It’s the latter meeting that catches the eye and one horse in particular that stands out on given her trainers record at the track this year.

Given that Kevin Prendergast has saddled more runners at Dundalk than any other Irish racecourse in 2020, it’s remarkable that he has a 29% strike rate so far 10/34 for a massive level stakes profit of £51.75. Prendergast sends just a single runner to the All-Weather track on Wednesday to try and add to that outstanding figure.

Erytheia is the horse in question. She steps up to a mile and a half for the first time in her career, an interesting move given a couple of her half-siblings. Her half-brother Exchange Rate is a winner over fourteen furlongs in this discipline and stays two and a half miles over hurdles for Willie Mullins. There is also a smart half-brother in Energizer who was a Royal Ascot winner in 2012 over ten furlongs.

She kept on powerfully over a mile at Leopardstown last month when only going under by a head. She didn’t help Chris Hayes much at this track on her Polytrack debut when hanging left. Despite that, she kept plugging away all the way to the line over ten furlongs so looks well worth a try stepped up to this new trip. She’s only had seven starts in her life so there could easily be better to come from her as she continues to mature.
