‘This is a deadly combo’ – Gordon Elliott and Sean Bowen combine twice at Perth 🔥

Both Gordon Elliott and Sean Bowen have excellent strike-rates at Perth so far this season so it sets off some alarm bells when the pair combine. Gordon Elliott sends three runners over to the Scottish track on Monday and Bowen takes the ride on two of them. We’ve combined both runners into a multiple for you to consider. Although the pay out won’t be huge, there’s a big chance that it will land as the pair have a strike-rate of 42 per cent when joining forces here. 2.30 Perth

Doctor Nightingale (4-5, bet365) has hit the crossbar twice in three starts over hurdles so far. The first of those came on hurdles debut at Tipperary and she was beaten by just half-a-length. Elliott’s charge again went close when beaten by under a length at Down Royal last time. This is probably her easiest task to date and it’s a fantastic opportunity to get off the mark. The main danger would appear to be Iain Jardine’s Lord Sam’s Castle but the form of his third on hurdling debut doesn’t look too strong.

4.47 Perth

Themanintheboots (7-4, William Hill) arrives here in fantastic form and is seeking a hat-trick. He was an easy winner here over 2m4f on his penultimate start, getting off the mark by a substantial margin of over five lengths. The form is a bit hit and miss but the third and fourth have both won since. Elliott’s five-year-old took the step up to three miles in his stride when winning comfortably over course and distance last time out. Despite being on a 5lb higher mark here, he certainly looks like the one to side with in this event.
