‘These three will love soft ground’ – 84-1 mud lovers Cheltenham accumulator ❤️

FLOORING PORTER - STAYERS' HURDLE 22

The going is set to be soft on Day 2 of the Cheltenham Festival and you may want to rule out some of the fast ground horses. With this in mind, We’ve picked out three horses with proven records on soft ground and combined them into a monster 84-1 accumulator. If you want more information, free bets or betting tips and advice throughout every day of this year’s Cheltenham Festival, then take a look at the following:

2.10 Cheltenham

Gerri Colombe must have an even better chance now that the rain has come. Unbeaten in seven starts, three of those wins have come on soft going. It’s likely that he’s won on quicker surfaces in spite of the ground and the conditions here will be right up his street. A Grade 1 winner last time, the extended three-mile trip should facilitate further improvement.

2.50 Cheltenham

Fil Dor is unbeaten in three starts on soft ground and he’s a fascinating contender here. He’s been crying out for a step up in trip and he was a good second in last year’s Triumph Hurdle. The return to hurdles and the drop into handicap company could facilitate a huge performance. 151 doesn’t look like a harsh mark either, as he could well be a high 150s horse.

3.30 Cheltenham

Energumene hasn’t finished outside of the first three in five starts on soft ground, winning three times. Connections would have been delighted with recent rain as he won this race last year in similar conditions. It was an oddly flat performance over course and distance last time out but Willie Mullins is likely to get him back to his best for this target.
