The MyRacing Show Episode 11: A Classic Clarence House?

The main focus is on Ascot this week, with the Grade 1 Clarence House Chase the feature on ITV Racing. That channel also covers a marathon chase at Taunton and hopefully the return to action of Buveur D’Air at Haydock, weather permitting.

Hosted by Ross Brierley and Natalie Green, the pair bring you all you need for the weekend action. Our own free horse racing tips as well as their own feature plus the most recent discussion points from the world of racing. For those looking for a laugh (and who isn’t at present) Brierley’s Off The Bridle is a two minute off kilter look to put a smile on your face.

The MyRacing Show | Picks, Puns and Previews | Episode #011

With it being the Clarence House Chase this weekend, Ross and Natalie discuss their most underrated two-mile chasers of all time. Do you agree with their picks? Wh0 would your most underrated two-mile chaser be? Let us know on social media and get involved in the discussion on both Facebook and Twitter.

The other huge discussion point from the week is the ban of Charles Byrnes. A horse got at in the racecourse stable is the thing of a Dick Francis novel, with there no suspicion on the trainer having any knowledge of what went wrong. Both Richie Forristal and Keith Melrose produced excellent opinion columns in the Racing Post on the case for those looking for another view on what happened at Tramore.

The MyRacing Show Multiple

The woodwork was rattled last week with an each way double. Natalie’s pick, Adrimel, won at Warwick and Ross’ pick, Lord Rapscallion, looked the winner turning in at Lingfield before fading into fifth, missing a place by less than a length. On Saturday they are going with an each way double with their respective selections below.

Natalie’s Selection – Chef D’Oeuvre – 2.05 Haydock

The ground won’t be a problem and might be overpriced for a small yard

Ross’ Selection – Portugueseprincess – 7.10 Newcastle

Blinkers on and well drawn. Has been in good nick at Southwell and this surface should suit down to the ground.
