The best league in the world is back on Saturday as the Premier League returns to kick-off for the 2020-2021 season. Make sure you follow Freesupertips for the best football tips in the world.
The Fantasy Football leagues are hugely popular so we at Myracing have decided to form a Jockeys Fantasy Football Dream XI. This is designed to be a bit of banter and be sure to let us know what you think on our twitter page @myracingtips.
Below is our dream XI and underneath we will explain why we have put each jockey into their designated position.
Arguably the most naturally gifted jumps jockey of all time and a 14-time winner at the Cheltenham Festival, Carberry had the best pair of hands the sport has ever seen.
We couldn’t resist, sorry Jamie. He is a perfect fit for right-back on our team after his exploits aboard Goshen in the Triumph Hurdle where he went out the wing at the last.
The Champ was one of a kind and we will never see a jockey as tough, resilient and as difficult to beat. If you were in a head-bobbing finish with McCoy, more times than not you will end up second-best. He has to be our centre-half.
Standing 5 feet 11 inches tall, which is extremely tall for a jockey, we had to stick George in centre-half. McCoy is pretty short so any team that tries Jack Charlton tactics on us will fail, George will be there to head the ball away every time.
We have put Jamie in as our left full in the Andy Robertson role. Jamie as per usual will be held up in rear but when it matters the most he will bomb it down the wing, the perfect man for the job.
The Irishman will love it down the right wing as we are accustomed to seeing him swinging wide for home before flying up the Cheltenham hill in March. He’s not a flashy winger but he is a very effective one.
One of the best jockeys in the weighing room for the past two decades, Dickie is the perfect fit for central midfield. He isn’t flashy but he does nothing stupid, he’s solid and he will allow the other players around him to flourish.
We couldn’t form a dream XI without Hollie in the lineup given the form she has been in for the past twelve months. She is undoubtedly the hardest working jockey there is and her results have shown that.
We need a tough of class, a bit of wizardry and someone who is going to pull the strings and find the gaps in midfield so Frankie is the perfect man for the job. He’s quick on his feet, he’s agile and he is a great addition to the squad.
Joe is the perfect striker and can usually be seen riding a Mark Johnston runner from the front across the United Kingdom. He absolutely loves it up there and his experience will make him a great target man.
Without doubt our star player is the enigma that is Ruby Walsh. There is no player on earth that can perfect the art of falling like him. He is the first name on the team sheet because he wins at least one penalty in every match.
