6.00 Kempton Park

The Mouse King backed up a couple of solid runner up finishes at Chelmsford when bolting up at Southwell 10 days ago, forging clear under this rider in the closing stages. The step up in trip might only bring about further improvement and he deserves to be a warm favourite.

6.20 Sedgefield

Cawthorne arrives here in the form of his life, winning all three starts this year, two over fences before taking advantage of a lenient mark back over hurdles at Market Rasen in July. He can continue his fine progression back over larger obstacles.

7.10 Bellewstown

Honeycomb finished four and a quarter lengths in front of the reopposing stablemate Ark when the pair met at Killarney in July, and was running out of her depth in the Irish St Leger Trial when last seen. Has found a very good opportunity to register her first win.
