The 28/1 Ryan Moore & Aidan O’Brien treble many will fancy on Sunday

The cream rises to the top on the big days, usually. We are set fare for another great day of action at the Curragh Racecourse on Sunday as we have the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup and the Group 1 Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas to whet the appetite. Master handler Aidan O’Brien will have his big guns on show and Ryan Moore seldom gets it wrong! This 28/1 Sunday treble will tempt many!

3.10 Curragh

The first of the tasty treble is also the most likely winner and favourite backers should have little to worry about if Auguste Rodin is back on song. He can flop, but he always follows a bad run with a good one. Last seen tailing off in the Dubai Sheema Classic, he always needs his first run of the year but we should see the real champ now! He’s not a five-time Group 1 winner for nothing.

3.45 Curragh

A cracking renewal of the Irish 1,000 Guineas and the race will revolve around Opera Singer and her fitness as if she is ready to roll she will take all the beating. A mesmerising winner of a French Group 1 to round off her year last term, a repeat would be good enough here and Moore has picked her over Buttons.

4.15 Curragh

Mundi won on his debut at Dundalk in April and although he was workmanlike over the stiff mile, the step up in trip is likely to bring out more improvement for this son of Galileo. It’s interesting Moore has picked him over Chief Little Rock, who has far better form in the book so that could be a clue in itself.
