‘She destroyed them last year’ – Check out our 331/1 ITV horses for courses treble

Racing fans have been treated to some excellent racing over the festive period and that is going to continue on Monday. There’s Grade 1 racing on offer on both sides of the Irish Sea and eight races will be live on ITV. Newbury, Leopardstown, Doncaster and Kelso host the action and it should be a cracking day. We’ve picked out three horses with proven records at their respective tracks and combined them into a monster treble. Check out our free tips page for daily content across British and Irish racing.

1.50 Newbury

Rivers Corner (9/2, bet365) has made the frame in all five starts over fences so far and his sole success came here at Newbury in March. Joe Tizzard’s seven-year-old was a comfortable winner of a novice handicap here over just shy of three miles and the runner-up has won since. Second over the same course and distance on his next start, there could be more to come from him this season.

2.22 Newbury

Jurancon (10/1, bet365) was a fair novice hurdler last term and he won three times in five starts. The first of those wins came here in a novice hurdle over a shorter trip and he won comfortably, despite carrying a penalty. David Pipe’s gelding followed up on handicap debut here in March and should improve for his first run of the season at Cheltenham, where he finished seventh.

2.32 Leopardstown

Brighterdaysahead (9/2, bet365) has long been the apple of Gordon Elliott’s eye and she was victorious on her only visit to Leopardstown. She destroyed the field when winning this very race last year, getting the better of State Man and Winter Fog by a very wide margin. This will be her first start of the season but you wouldn’t want to rule out another big run.
