Adrian Wall is back with his weekly feast of ITV Racing Outsiders. He hit the back of the net with a huge 40-1 winner last week, tipping Themaxwecan at Ascot. Let’s see if he can find our followers some value this weekend. Best of luck if you follow and remember, always bet responsibly. Check out our weekend horseracing tips.
Eight runners are set to go to post for the opening race on terrestrial TV and I really like the look of Postwick (14-1) at the prices. His best two efforts have come around this 1m2f distance, a close up fifth at Wolverhampton in April and only found Honiton too good on the day at Sandown. The drop back in trip and the falling mark points to a big run.
Just the 15 runners go to post for the feature this year which is a poor turnout but nonetheless Indian Creak (25-1) looks overpriced to me. He has been dropped 1lb for his two most recent efforts at Windsor and Goodwood, but he won a valuable Windsor handicap on fast ground off 85 in June and a repeat of that run brings him right into this contest.
William Buick is back on board Jumby (20-1) which is hugely eyecatching. Buick’s record on the horse reads 11363 so he has only been out of the frame once on him. Jumby’s run at Ascot most recently probably came too soon but he was placed in the Wokingham and Bunbury Cup prior to that and although this is a step up in class, he is not to be written off in this company.
