Royal Ascot Tips: Adrian Wall’s 50p each-way Lucky 15 could return £767,000

The Royal Ascot Festival is a week that all horse racing fans look forward to. Adrian Wall knows how to spot a big priced winner and is back with four tasty selections for Friday’s racing action. The four horses could return a staggering £767,000 with 888Sport at the time of posting for a £0.50p each-way unit stake. However, four places is the aim and would be a lovely return and be sure to check the bookmaker’s maximum payout rules if needed to adjust stakes.

Albany Stakes

The Kevin Ryan-trained Anadora (40-1) could be a much better horse than her current odds would suggest. She overcame greenness and a very slow start on debut at Newcastle to win. That was super impressive and she went into my notebook after that. She wasn’t at her best at Newmarket since but was conceding lumps of weight to the field and she is not one to write off here.

Commonwealth Cup

A field of 21 runners go to post for a quality renewal of the electric sprint. The Lir Jet (33-1) had excuses running on heavy ground at Haydock last time. He has some smart form in the book, most notably when beaten a short-head by Lucky Vega in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh last year. A reproduction of that would give him every chance providing the rain doesn’t come.

Sandringham Stakes

Down at the foot of the weights, George Boughey’s Mirage Mac (33-1) is interesting in the capable hands of Nicola Currie. The Bobby’s Kitten filly loves a sound surface and won her first three career starts on the bounce. She just needed the run when down the field at Salisbury after an absence and with just 8-stone on her back, she has to be considered.

Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes

If Tyson Fury (25-1) can recapture his three-year-old form then he has to come into the reckoning in this. A winner at Doncaster on debut last year, he won his second race over this course and distance in October. Out of his depth in pattern class in both starts this year, he is dropped back into handicap company and has to be of interest.
