It’s an interesting card and none more so than the 2.10 which sees a very interesting raider from Yorkshire. This trainer tends to keep his horses much closer to home so to send just a single runner on a 624-mile round trip could well be significant.

Looking at the tracks in the south west of England, this trainer has 0 previous runners at Exeter on the RP stats page. He has had just 2 at Newton Abbot, 1 at Taunton and 2 at Wincanton so it’s incredibly rare to see runners in this part of the country for the man in question, Mick Easterby.

His yard have always been masterful when it comes to placing horses so while he has a bit to do on his hurdles runs, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him capable of better.
