‘Perth is his second home’ – Huge 356-1 Gordon Elliott acca on Thursday 🏡

Gordon Elliott has brought over plenty of horses over to Perth during the early stages of the Jumps season, which has resulted in plenty of success. The County Meath trainer sends so many that Perth is almost his second home. There are five more coming for the Scottish track’s meeting on Thursday which is hard to ignore so we’ve put these runners into a huge 356-1 accumulator. 1.35 Perth

Country Queen (1-1, bet365) got off the mark over hurdles last time out at Kilbeggan. She got up in the dying strides to win by a neck over 2m3f. It’s quite possible that she would have won by further without ducking at the start. This doesn’t look like the strongest of novice races so a second hurdles win could be on the cards.

2.10 Perth

Hermann Clermont (3-1, bet365) got outstayed here over three miles last time out. Perhaps the drop down to 2m4f will enable him to finish with more zest. This is a particularly competitive race for the grade and time of year so he’ll need to bring his A-game.

3.20 Perth

The Greek (10-3, bet365) finished second here three starts ago over two miles. Will need to sharpen up his jumping on the evidence of his latest effort which was disappointing. If returning to the level of form showed here he’s very much in with a shout now down to a lower mark. The step back up to 2m4f could well suit as he has some fair maiden hurdle form over the trip.

3.55 Perth

Platinumcard (11-4, bet365) finished second at Galway when last seen. he’s already a winner on these shores having won at Ayr back in April. It will take a career-best off this steep-looking British mark but it’s never wise to rule out a Gordon Elliot Perth-raider.

5.02 Perth

Wisteria Bloom (7-4, bet365) was second on debut at Kilbeggan before disappointing at Killarney when last seen. Irish bumpers are often particularly strong so there’s a significant chance that he’ll find the less competitive British races easier to cope with. Better can be expected this time round.
