Monster 11/2 NAP landed Monday – Click here to view Tuesday’s NAP

Catterick Racecourse

It was fantastic to land a massive 11/2 NAP on Monday at Pontefract to the delight of the Myracing faithful. That is a pretty big price for a best bet of the day and it is nice to have our confidence rewarded.

David Elsworth seldom sends one runner on the 300-mile round trip to the northern track. Tom Collins made the journey from Newmarket to Pontefract in search of the £7,000 plus pot.

Every box was ticked for this runner. He loves soft ground, he was running off an attractive mark and the trip was perfect. Silvestre De Sousa operates at a 24-per-cent strike-rate around the track for the past five years.

Make no mistake, Elsworth was coming here to win, and he did. Under a power-packed De Sousa ride, he won by a neck in a driving finish to make our day.

What is Tuesday’s NAP?

Our NAP of the day on Tuesday runs in the opening race of the day, the 1.00pm at Catterick. Soft ground, heavy in places are the forecast conditions so it will be a proper test.

Given the test, a horse that’s flying fit and in good form can be the way to go. We think BUMBLE BEEE is a brilliant bet and will take the world of beating in the race.

This filly by Kodiac ran a solid race on debut at Ripon in fourth but left that well behind at Wolverhampton when last seen. Well-backed into 7/4 favourite, she won going away in the hands of Hollie Doyle.

The main danger to her in this is Mark Johnston’s Pelakai, who is dropping down in class. She was last seen running down the field in Listed company behind Winter Power.

She has to give our runner 3lb though and with Harrison Shaw taking off a further 3lb, we’re confident the Bumble Beee will sting her rivals.
