Monday Racing Outsiders – Adrian Wall’s monster 2,746-1 Southwell double

Adrian Wall has picked out two outsiders that he feels will outrun their large odds at Southwell on Monday. Both runners look drastically overpriced in the market. 3.05 Southwell

It’s Your Move (66-1 with William Hill) was contesting Class 2 handicaps in 2018 and although he had his issues since, he must have a chance in this grade. The 9-year-old was having just his second start since 2018 when a remote 4th here over two miles on heavy ground.

He has been dropped a further four pounds in the weights for that effort and should be able to build on it. Trainer Jacqueline Coward had 24 runners last season resulting in no winners so, of course, there are risks attached.

However, that is factored into the huge price and Page Fuller is a more than adequate jockey in the saddle.

3.40 Southwell

Drumochter (40-1 with William Hill) ran a very poor race at Wetherby on her return to action but she was off the track for more than two years. As a result, it is fair to say that she needed the run to blow the cobwebs away.

She was once rated 74 on the flat so if you use the 40 pound rule, converted to obstacles she in theory should be rated around the 114 mark. Running from a rating of 99 in this race, she has to be of interest if she can find her sparkle again.
