2.35 Catterick

Eric Alston’s gelding Redrosezorro faces his easiest assignment in a long time here. He has been disappointing this year but all of his runs have been in either Class 3 or Class 4 company. Now dropping into Class 5 company for the first time since winning over course and distance off this mark in August 2020, he should be primed for a huge run.

The top weight was as big as 33-1 in the market last night but is now a general 12-1 chance with all of the firms at the time of writing this article. It would not take a huge amount of money to move a horse to 12-1 in the market but it looks like some folk are definitely having an each-way punt at fairly good prices.

Winning here last year off a mark of 80, he is now 10lb lower in the weights so if connections have him back to anywhere near his best, he is going to take the world of stopping. The draw in 10 should not be an issue and Jason Hart is a terrific jockey in the saddle. Everything looks cherry ripe for a massive run here.
