Lucky low draw: mammoth 444-1 accumulator at Chester on Thursday 🏇

There have been many non-runners at Chester over the years due to horses being allotted a high draw. Particularly in sprint races, a wide draw is the kiss of a death to a horse’s chances. With this in mind, we’ve put together a Chester accumulator of four horses with a low draw. Check out our free tips page for content across all British and Irish racing.

1.30 Chester

Night On Earth (5-1, William Hill) has been drawn in stall four and out of 10 runners, he just about makes into the low draw category. He seems to be coping well with his rise up the handicap and he was third to Twilight Calls at Newmarket when last seen. That horse went on to be beaten by less than two lengths in the Palace House Stakes and as he’s unlikely to bump into a Group horse here, he should go well off the same mark.

2.05 Chester

Koy Koy (7-2, William Hill) makes his handicap and seasonal debut on just his fourth start. His stall three draw is ideal and this horse could be anything. His last start was his most promising as he won by over six lengths in a Newbury novice event. He couldn’t have been more impressive that day and a subsequent winner has come out of the race.

3.40 Chester

Pride Of Priory (9-2, William Hill) was last seen winning a match at Haydock for which he was put up 6lb. However, he’s lightly raced and progressive so there should be more to come. William Haggas is exceptional at getting horses to improve from three to four so this horse could be in for an exciting campaign. Stall three is a good draw so the only concern is his lay-off of 222 days.

4.50 Chester

Temple Of Artemis (2-1, William Hill) ran like he needed the run on seasonal debut at Leopardstown last month. As he looks like a maiden winner in-waiting, it’s very interesting that he’s being aimed at a British handicap and he should go close up to a trip in excess of 1m4f for the first time. This colt has been allotted the lowest draw possible in stall one so he’ll need to break sharply.
